⚡Magic: The Gathering Reality Fracture: Top 5 Must-Buy Singles + How to Ship TCGplayer Cards to the Philippines
📌 TL;DR｜Key Takeaways
・Release: Reality Fracture (set code FRA), the last original-world Magic: The Gathering set of 2026 and the final chapter of the Jace storyline, went on sale worldwide on 2 October 2026.
・Collector highlights: every booster contains an Echoed Pairs set; Collector Boosters add limited Shattered Mirror foils, Japan Showcase versions and a serialised Bloodline Recollector limited to 500 copies.
・Must-buy singles: Bloodline Recollector, Kwia Vigorbloom, Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun, Ingris Stingerquill and Liliana the Faultless.
・How players in the Philippines get them: the most direct route is to buy the English singles you want on TCGplayer and forward them home through the Buy&Ship US warehouse; and from 1 to 31 October, a single TCGplayer order of US$35 or more earns a ₱620 shipping coupon.
Magic: The Gathering’s new set Reality Fracture was officially released on 2 October 2026. Jace has remade the Multiverse into the “Echoverse” of his own design, and familiar heroes and classic spells have become distorted reflections of themselves: Liliana is now a healer, and even Ancestral Recall returns in black. Old and new versions of the same characters also appear together in the same booster as Echoed Pairs.
The set is published only in English, Japanese and several European languages. The safest and most cost-effective way to get it is to buy the singles you want directly from TCGplayer, the largest TCG marketplace in the US, and forward them to the Philippines through a parcel-forwarding service. This guide covers the key facts about Reality Fracture, its collector versions, 5 must-buy singles and one crucial question: should you buy singles, or buy sealed boxes and take your chances?
💡TCGplayer checkout requires PayPal. We recommend choosing sellers with the “TCGplayer Direct” badge: virtually every such order comes with a tracking number, so the shipment is better protected. Look for this badge especially when buying high-value singles.

Reality Fracture at a Glance
Reality Fracture is the last of Magic: The Gathering’s three original-world sets of 2026, and the final chapter of the Jace Beleren storyline that has run for many years. In the story, Jace, as “The Theorist”, reshapes the Multiverse and creates the “Echoverse”, a reality whose history has been completely rewritten. The set is based at Hexhaven, a magic academy in the Echoverse divided into five houses, each matching a two-colour pair.
| Item | Details |
| Official release date | 2 October 2026 |
| Prerelease | 25 September to 1 October 2026 |
| MTG Arena / Magic Online launch | 29 September 2026 |
| Set codes | FRA (main set), FRC (Commander decks), FDC (Magic Foundations Commander decks), SPG (Special Guests) |
| Languages | English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish (no Chinese edition) |
| The five houses of Hexhaven | Fatehold (white-blue), Theorix (blue-black), Stingerquill (black-red), Konstrari (red-green), Vigorbloom (green-white) |
Three new mechanics are worth noting:
- Echoed Pairs: the Multiverse version and the Echoverse version of the same character appear as a pair in the same booster, the defining feature of this set’s pack-opening experience.
- Prepare returns: when the condition is met, a creature becomes “prepared”, letting you cast a copy of the spell attached to it. The set’s flagship card, Bloodline Recollector, is one such card.
- Empower Jace: creates a Jace planeswalker token and adds loyalty counters to it, which can be used to surveil or draw cards.

Reality Fracture Collector Treatments
The same card often comes in several versions in Reality Fracture, and prices can differ by a factor of dozens. Check the version name before ordering so you buy the right one:
| Version | What it is | Where it appears |
| Headliner | Serialised retro full-art frame version of Bloodline Recollector in Double Rainbow Foil, illustrated by Mark Poole, the artist behind the “Power Nine”; officially limited to 500 copies | Collector Boosters only, at a rate below 1% |
| Shattered Mirror cards | The artwork appears as a shattered mirror, with the original card’s art visible in the fragments. According to TCGplayer, the facet foil versions are limited to 6,000 copies for Rares and 3,000 for Mythic Rares | Non-foil in Play Boosters; facet foil in Collector Boosters only |
| Japan Showcase | Japanese-culture-themed versions illustrated by Japanese artists, 10 cards in all, plus a rarer Fracture Foil version | Collector Boosters only |
| Sculptor’s Stronghold showcase | Showcase versions depicting the architecture of the Theorist’s tower, 25 cards in all (18 Rares, 7 Mythic Rares) | Play Boosters and Collector Boosters |
| Borderless Echoed Pairs | Borderless versions of the Echoed Pairs, 30 cards in all (10 Uncommons, 14 Rares, 6 Mythic Rares) | Play Boosters and Collector Boosters |
| Special Guests | 10 reprints of powerful cards from across Magic’s history, such as Necrodominance, Mind Twist, Splinter Twin and Eye of Ugin | About 1 in every 55 Play Boosters; foil versions in Collector Boosters only |
💡 How are serialised cards priced?
Each serialised Bloodline Recollector carries its own number, and prices vary greatly from number to number; TCGplayer notes that numbers such as #1, #67, #69 and #420 are especially sought after. As of 7 October 2026 there is no market reference price for this card yet.
Reality Fracture Top 5 Must-Buy Singles
The 5 cards below were chosen with reference to TCGplayer’s “The 10 Chase Cards Everybody Wants From Magic: The Gathering Reality Fracture” and TCGplayer seller sales data, balancing collector value with Commander playability. Market prices were taken from each card’s TCGplayer product page (as of 7 October 2026) and are for reference only; check the live TCGplayer price before ordering. ₱ reference prices are converted at an exchange rate of US$1 ≈ ₱62.79.
1. Bloodline Recollector (#49, Mythic Rare)
| Version | Market price (US$) | ₱ reference price |
| Regular (#49) | US$5.56 | ₱349 |
| Extended Art (#427) | US$6.54 | ₱411 |
| Headliner serialised (#402, limited to 500 copies) | No market price yet | — |
The Headliner of Reality Fracture. This black 2-mana 2/2 Vampire Warlock comes with an attached spell called Ancestral Craving: target player draws three cards and loses 3 life, an unmistakable black “echo” of the classic Ancestral Recall. At the beginning of each end step, if three or more creatures died this turn, it becomes prepared.
The serialised version, illustrated by Mark Poole, is the hardest pull in the entire set; the regular and serialised versions are functionally identical, so if you want to play the card, the regular version is by far the best value.
2. Kwia Vigorbloom (#140, Mythic Rare)
| Version | Market price (US$) | ₱ reference price |
| Regular (#140) | US$10.12 | ₱635 |
| Sculptor’s Stronghold showcase (#352) | US$13.25 | ₱832 |
| Japan Showcase (#410) | US$60.87 | ₱3,822 |
A green-white 6-mana 6/6 Elder Sphinx and the head of the Vigorbloom house, with flying, vigilance, lifelink and ward 2. Whenever you gain life, it creates an artifact token named “Lotus”; tap and sacrifice it to add three mana of any one colour (this ability triggers only once each turn).
Although the name does not say so, the Lotus token is clearly a nod to the legendary Black Lotus. Lifegain has always been a popular archetype in Commander, and Kwia may well become its new centrepiece.
3. Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun (Borderless Echoed Pairs, Rare)
| Version | Market price (US$) | ₱ reference price |
| Borderless (#302) | US$13.06 | ₱820 |
| Regular (#220) | US$9.04 | ₱568 |
A blue 2-mana 2/1 legendary creature with a single line of text: instant and sorcery spells you control have split second. Until a split-second spell resolves, opponents cannot cast spells or activate abilities that are not mana abilities, which makes practically every spell you cast hard to counter.
This card ranked second on the Reality Fracture singles sales chart TCGplayer published on 30 September 2026, and the Borderless Echoed Pairs version is on many collectors’ lists. Note, however, that split second does not stop triggered abilities, so it is not entirely unanswerable.
4. Ingris Stingerquill (Sculptor’s Stronghold showcase, Mythic Rare)
| Version | Market price (US$) | ₱ reference price |
| Sculptor’s Stronghold showcase (#351) | US$13.29 | ₱834 |
| Regular (#137) | US$9.93 | ₱624 |
| Japan Showcase (#409) | US$42.74 | ₱2,684 |
A black-red 3-mana 1/4 flying Elder Sphinx and the head of the Stingerquill house. Whenever a creature you control attacks, it deals 1 damage to each opponent; for 4 mana, you can also create a 2/2 “Cadet” token and give your creatures haste until end of turn.
According to TCGplayer’s September data, Ingris is the most-registered Reality Fracture commander on EDHREC and is hailed as one of the strongest aggressive commanders in years. The next section sets out how to build around it.
5. Liliana the Faultless (Borderless Echoed Pairs, Rare)
| Version | Market price (US$) | ₱ reference price |
| Borderless (#293) | US$9.25 | ₱581 |
| Regular (#200) | US$4.21 | ₱264 |
In the Echoverse, Liliana is no longer a necromancer but a healer. This white 1-mana 1/1 legendary creature gains you 1 life whenever another creature or planeswalker enters under your control; for 1 mana, tap and discard a card, you can also give another creature or planeswalker you control hexproof until end of turn.
Lifegain and protection for just 1 mana makes it genuinely playable, and the Borderless Echoed Pairs version is among the most sought-after Reality Fracture cards listed by TCGplayer.
⚠️ All card details above (numbers, rarity, versions and effects) are taken from each card’s TCGplayer product page. Different versions of the same card are listed separately, so check the version label in the product name (for example Borderless or Showcase) and the card number before ordering.
For Commander Players: Building Around Ingris Stingerquill
TCGplayer’s Commander column has analysed how to play Ingris Stingerquill. The core idea is simple: put out as many creatures as possible and attack as early as possible. Every attacking creature deals 1 damage to each opponent, so the more creatures you have, the more damage you deal. These are the combinations the article recommends:
- Infinite combat steps: Neheb, the Eternal with Aggravated Assault lets you keep adding combat phases. TCGplayer notes that this is a high-power Bracket 4 to 5 play, so it is worth discussing with your playgroup beforehand.
- Cards from this set: Master of Barbs (pumps your creatures whenever an opponent takes non-combat damage), Fated Firepower (adds extra damage each time you deal damage to an opponent), Vraska, Betrayal’s Sting (proliferates poison and flame counters) and Phyresis Outbreak (for 3 mana, gives each opponent a poison counter and weakens their creatures).
- The infect route: Ingris’s triggered damage is dealt by the creature itself, so with infect creatures every attack piles on poison counters, regardless of any life your opponents gain.
Ingris’s weakness is that it has neither hexproof nor ward, so it is an easy target for removal; the 4-mana activated ability is also a little expensive early in the game, so the deck needs enough cheap creatures to support it.

Reality Fracture Products and Price Comparison
The table below lists each product’s US manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP, from the TCGplayer Buyer’s Guide) alongside its TCGplayer market price (as of 7 October 2026).
| Product | What’s inside | MSRP (US$) | TCGplayer market price (US$) | Best for |
| Play Booster Display | 30 Play Boosters, each with 3 Echoed Pairs cards and 1 Rare or Mythic Rare | $5.49 per pack | $142.64 | Players who want to open a lot of packs, or play Sealed with friends |
| Collector Booster Display | 12 Collector Boosters, with Shattered Mirror, Japan Showcase, serialised cards and other rare versions | $26.99 per pack | $437.70 | Collectors with a bigger budget who enjoy pulling rare versions |
| Bundle | 9 Play Boosters, 1 foil promo card, 30 basic lands, an oversized Spindown die and a storage box | $57.99 | $66.44 | New players, gifts |
| Draft Night | 12 Play Boosters + 1 Collector Booster; four players can play a “pick-two draft” | $89.99 | $98.60 | Groups of four who want to try drafting |
| Multiverse Reforged Commander deck | Four-colour 100-card ready-to-play deck led by Jace, Multiverse Architect, with 18 new cards | $49.99 | $61.53 | Commander players who want to break it up for singles (TCGplayer considers it less suitable for beginners) |
| Magic Foundations Commander decks (5 in all) | Five mono-colour starter decks, released the same day as this set | $29.99 each | $189.22 (set of 5) | Commander beginners, gifts |
| Secret Lair Bundle | 6 Play Boosters, 2 Collector Boosters and 2 exclusive Secret Lair-style Mythic Rares | $89.99 | $221.69 (pre-order) | Collectors who like the Secret Lair style; not released until 23 October 2026 |
Market prices change constantly; check the live TCGplayer price before ordering. The Secret Lair Bundle is currently a pre-order and its market price is well above MSRP, so compare carefully before buying.
Singles or Sealed?
The author of the TCGplayer Buyer’s Guide is blunt about it: if your aim is to make money, avoid buying Play Boosters or Collector Boosters; Reality Fracture has a strong card pool and is very well suited to buying singles only. If you are after the cards above, buying them by name is usually the sounder choice than opening boxes:
| What matters | Buying singles | Buying sealed product |
| Getting the card you want | Guaranteed; you buy it by name | Random; serialised cards appear at a rate below 1% |
| Forwarding weight | A single card in a sleeve weighs next to nothing | A whole box is heavy and bulky |
| Condition control | You choose the condition | Luck of the draw; no choice |
| Pack-opening experience | None | Yes; this is the main appeal of buying sealed |
| Best for | Those with a clear target who want a few specific cards | Those who enjoy opening packs and want to build up a large collection |
- Forwarding is charged by weight, and singles are the ideal goods to ship. Singles are high in value and almost weightless, so the same shipping fee brings home far more value than a full sealed box. For the actual fee, check the Buy&Ship rates on the day you place your order.
- This set has many versions, so the hit rate on chase cards is low. Shattered Mirror, Japan Showcase and serialised cards all depend on pack-opening odds; buying by name suits a clear collecting goal far better.
- You can choose the condition. Use the Cart Optimizer to consolidate sellers and you can also reduce the number of separate shipments.
Next Up: Mystery Booster: Commander Edition
Hot on the heels of Reality Fracture, Magic: The Gathering will release Mystery Booster: Commander Edition, designed specifically for Commander Draft. The set draws on more than 2,000 cards from across Magic’s history; each box holds 24 packs of 20 cards, including 3 commons or uncommons of each colour, 1 reprinted commander (Rare or Mythic Rare) and 1 brand-new commander.
It is now available for pre-order on TCGplayer, with an expected ship date of 13 November 2026; there is no market reference price yet. The actual ship date is as shown on the TCGplayer product page.
