Rakuten Japan Black Friday 2026 Guide | ¥500 Off ¥5,000 November Coupon, How to Claim It and Ship to the Philippines (Updated)

Step 1

Open the Rakuten member registration page (you can change the page language at the top right). Enter an email address you use often (you have to type it twice and cannot copy and paste) so you can receive order messages, then choose whether to use your email as your login ID or create your own User ID (6 characters or more).

Step 2

Set a password (6 characters or more, different from your User ID; a stronger password is recommended) and enter your real name. Rakuten says your name is used when you reset your password later, so please enter it accurately.

Step 3

Check that everything is correct and click “Next Step”. Clicking it means you agree to Rakuten’s membership rules and privacy policy.

Step 4

On the confirmation page (step 2 of the progress bar at the top, “Confirm Information Entered”), check your details again and submit as instructed.

Step 5

When the progress bar shows step 3, “Complete Registration”, your registration is done. If the page then asks you to verify your email or complete another security step, follow the instructions before continuing below.

Step 6

Back on the Rakuten Japan homepage, click “Member Centre” → “会員情報の登録・確認・変更” to change your profile.

Step 7

Then click “基本情報” (Basic information). Be sure to set a birthday you will remember, as it can be one of the answers used to verify your login later.

Method 1

After logging in to Rakuten, scroll to the middle of the homepage to find “あなたにおすすめのクーポン” (coupons recommended for you), which shows coupons from stores you viewed recently. Click the right arrow to see more recommended coupons. Every coupon has an expiry date, so buy while it is still valid.

Method 2: Find coupons on category and product pages

After logging in, choose the category you want and you can find coupons below the popular ranking.

On the product page, the yellow “クーポン獲得” (get coupon) button on the right is the coupon. Click it, then click the red button to claim it, and note the coupon’s validity date and time.

Method 3: Search all coupons in “My Coupon”

After logging in, click “myクーポン” (My Coupon) at the top right.

Then click “クーポントップ” (coupon top page) to search for more coupons.

On that page, scroll down and click “楽天市場” (Rakuten Ichiba).

The page shows coupons from featured stores. Click “クーポンGET” to go to the claim page.

On the claim page, check the validity period and conditions, then claim the coupon. It is saved to your account automatically.

Step 1

Go to Rakuten Japan. Tap the “Shop Overseas” button under any store above to go straight to the store page, or search Rakuten for items you like. Then add the item to your cart or check out immediately.

Step 2

Go to your shopping cart, select “茨城県 (Ibaraki Prefecture)” as the shipping location from the upper right corner. Check and make sure correct items are added into cart, and proceed.

Step 3

Fill in delivery address. Go to the “Overseas Warehouse Address” on your Buy&Ship member centre and select “Japan” to view the information of Buy&Ship’s Japan warehouse.

In the name field, please enter your name and Buy&Ship membership number (e.g. PHXXXXXX). For the “フリガナ“, you need to convert your name into Japanese Katakana (click here to convert). Once it’s converted, copy and paste it onto the name bar.

Step 4

On the payment page, make sure you select the Buy&Ship exclusive coupon you claimed in the “クーポン利用” (Use Coupon) section. Once the discount is applied, fill in your credit card details and click “次へ” (Next).

To check or change the coupon you are using, click “変更” (Change) in the “クーポン利用” (Use Coupon) section, tick the coupon you want to use, then click “更新” (Update). The price after the coupon is updated automatically.

Step 5

Confirm your order information, and then click “OK” (the red box shown). You’ll receive email confirmation once order is submitted.

Step 6

Once the Japanese store ships your order, you will receive a shipping notification email with a courier tracking number. Go to your member centre and declare the shipment on Buy&Ship as soon as possible. Once several Rakuten orders have reached our Japan warehouse, you can combine them into one forwarding shipment in the system and send them to the Philippines in one go!
