This is a Tachikichi (Kitcho) "Akane" vase. This is a vase with an impressive beautiful gradient glaze that changes from purple to vermilion. Its rounded form blends well with Japanese-style rooms, tea rooms, and interiors. Comes with a wooden box. There are minor scuffs due to age, but no major damage is observed.
